April 19, 2007: IKA in Singapore
Ika-Works (Asia) partners up with Labquip Singapore to market their range of process equipment to the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and herbal industries. Pix shows Sunny Kraemer & Paul Wong from Ika and Arjan Lulla & Jennifer Soriano at a recent meeting in Singapore for training and customer visits.
Ika Process focuses on powder dissolution into liquids for dispersion, suspensions, emulsification, gel or slurry. The new MagicLab and MasterPlant feature innovative new technologies to do multistage pumping, mixing and high shearing dispersion in one compact unit incorporating up to 3 stators.

April 12, 2007: The AACS Presentation
Miss Victoria Beh hosted Labquip Malaysia's first official presentation for ACS Caging System, requested by Dr. Shurkur Md Nor under Faculty of Science & Technology, National University of Malaysia (UKM, Bangi) - Main Topic : How Does EVC (Exhaust Ventilation System) Relates Well to M.I.C.E. ?
Thanks to Mr. Graham Murray of AACS for providing presentation slides and research data from Cornell University for comparison between IVC and EVC system technology to complement the M.I.C.E. talk.

April 4/5, 2007: Mixing For Process Industries
We thank Univerisiti Malaya (UM), Ika-Works (Asia), and Intran Technologies for jointly organising a successful workshop on Mixing. Lecturers from the UM Chemical Engineering and CIvil Engineering department imparted the theoretical aspects of the mixing process; while, Ika gave a demonstration of their Process Technology Equipment.
Participants included chemists and lab managers from the coating, cosmetics, feed and pharmaceutical industries in Malaysia. Labquip's Faizah, Jennifer, and Arjan attended the two-day course.

March 28-30 2007 - Technical @ Bangkok
Jozhe Wong, LQ POLYLAB specialist for the region, inspects and test runs the two roll mill prior to packaging and shipment to our client, Sun Ace. March 26-27, 2007: TUTA Training Session
Australia's leading healthcare and medical solutions company, Tuta, came up to Singapore to train Labquip staff fom Singapore and Indonesia.
Apart from the materials & product training, sales kits and demo products were provided to start off Labquip's new division: LabMedics

March 21-25 2007 - LabIVF @ 6th SCOG
Held at the Conrad Centennial Hotel, The Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Singapore (OGSS) organised the 6th Singapore Congress in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
LabIVF took part in the trade show with Research Instruments and CRI Inc. Participants from all Labquip offices were present to lend their support (Labquip Indonesia's Diana is pictured). David Fletcher-Holmes and Martin Beresford presented the equipment & technology. Dr Chia (pictured) from Thomson's IVF center came especially for the hands-on experience.
Congratulations to LabIVF for a job very well done!

PSB project completed on January 31, 2007
The installation and commissioning of 10 Class II Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinets in PSB Academy has been successfully completed. Roland Cheong supervised the project, and pictured here is the new lab for 2007.

Jan. 29th 2007 - Labquip signs agreement with Ceylinco-Tuta JV to market
The Tuta range of transfusion, infusion, irrigation, IV specialty products, drainage and specialty equipment for medical use. Tuta will be marketed by a new division to be set up: Labquip - Medics Division. Labquip has been registered by HSA in Singapore for medical devices distribution. The agreement initially covers Singapore and Indonesia. The picture shows Mr Ajith R Gunawardena and Salinda Ratnayake of the Ceylinco Group and Arjan Lulla of Labquip after signing the distribution agreement.
